Harley-Davidson Challenges Bikers To Plant 50 Million Trees Worldwide

November 6, 2014 - A group called "The Nature Conservancy" has teamed up with Harley-Davidson for a new program called Renew the Ride, which hopes to plant 50 million trees worldwide in the next ten years.

According to a press release published this week, Harley-Davidson has challenged its owners and dealers to dedicate time, donations and organizational efforts to support The Nature Conservancy, a nonprofit that addresses the most pressing conservation threats at the largest scale in the most critical areas.

"As the world's two largest economies, energy consumers and emitters of greenhouse gases, we have a special responsibility to lead the global effort against climate change," Obama said Wednesday in a joint news conference with Xi.
